Technology has become a tool for teaching teachers and a tool for learning and teaching. It also enables children to explore different learning context from this they can find the suitable learning style for them. There are many different tools to experiment with such as voice recording it helps with digital experience to learning, from this  students in a classroom can try different techniques that might be useful for their homework or tasks (Donohue, 2014).

Podcast And Vodcast

Hi everyone,
Podcasting is a growing technology that can let those individuals who want to share ideas and information to others seeking it. It delivers information quicker and easier through audio (Walker, 2011). An example of a podcast is the Radio. Radio's are build in everywhere from phones to cars.
Vodcasting is slightly similar to podcasting although they only apply to videos. They are also audio but the only difference is that it's visual too. To make a vodcast the features you will need  is a webcam and a recorder  (Leask and Pachler, 2013). A popular vodcast that everyone uses today is YouTube.

Personal Experiences Within ICT

Technology changes (2016)  Available at: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=technology+changes&biw=1680&bih=930&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiCjY7cnabRAhXpLsAKHRWtA2cQ_AUIBigB#imgrc=Hf8EjbuPa67IUM%3A (Accessed: 3 January 2017).

Hi everyone , as you can see the evolution of modern technology is growing above and beyond. And that technology has become a big part in everyone's lives. "Children depend on technology to help them find answers to everyday questions. Also, educators use it to make classroom learning more engaging and effective" (Purdue, 2014).

My experiences with technology when I was in primary school were the basics like books, white boards and old computer monitors. The chances for me to access technology when I was at home was very low. The main reason for that was, we never had a computer or internet. Also, broadband internet wasn’t available as much, there were quite restricted internet service providers. Internet access was all due to affordability and the gap between income levels, affordability is a major constraint for internet usage" ( Hatzimichail, 2003). However, secondary in comparison was a lot more different. The use of technology was expanding even in the educational sectors. We had all sorts of access from Ipads, laptops to smartphones we even upgraded to scientific calculators which shows a tremendous change. This shows that education has changed a lot since the early 20th century, with new technologies being introduced. Technology has become very popular. “Technology in education is now seen as a significant issue for everyone. Tools like whiteboards to Google searches and Wikipedia have now become a rather unremarkable aspect of education provision and practice” (Selwyn ,2014).

Mobile Technology

Hi everyone,

This blog post will discuss if mobile technology will replace teachers in the near future.

I personally believe that it will, there are more people keen on technology today. Hence why a lot of universities courses are being opened online (LeClair, 2013). For instance, 'The Open University' which offers flexible part-time study for distance learners worldwide offering both undergraduate and postgraduate courses available for those who want to study (Weinbren, 2014).  Also, there are many websites being put online to teach students like 'Khan Academy' and 'MathsWatch' they are very useful websites that do tutorials on maths sessions (Khan, 2012; K. Bailey, 2011). I strongly believe that students will learn more by watching those clips as they can re-watch it multiple times until they understand it. There won't be a point in having teachers if resources are now available online.
